At Tom Wood Honda of Anderson, our Honda Service Department provides two transmission services with one being for routine maintenance and the other for replacing defective transmissions. Here are our two transmission services and what's included with each:
Transmission Fluid Exchange - a certified technician drains the old transmission fluid and installs fresh Honda-approved transmission fluid according to factory specifications.
Transmission Replacement - when a transmission is defective or damaged beyond maintenance or repair, it will require replacement; a certified technician will painstakingly disconnect and remove the old transmission system and install a new Honda OEM transmission according to factory specifications.
