Can’t decide between the Honda HR-V or the Honda CR-V? We know it’s a very tough choice. Take a look at this Honda car comparison to see which SUV best meets your needs:
Power- and Drivetrain
The Honda CR-V comes with a turbocharged 1.5-liter engine that offers 190 horsepower. This is mated to a continuously variable automatic transmission (CVT). Front-wheel drive is standard, but all-wheel drive is available.
With the Honda HR-V, you’ll get a 1.8-liter engine that puts out 141 horsepower. This also comes with a CVT. Front-wheel drive is standard as well, with all-wheel drive as an option.
Space and Comfort
Five people fit very comfortably in the Honda CR-V, and both rows are spacious. Cloth upholstery is standard, but you can get leather as well. Other add-ons include power-adjustable and heated front seats.
This SUV has outstanding cargo room: 39.2 cubic feet behind the back row and 75.8 cubic feet when it’s down.
The Honda HR-V also has a sizable cabin that accommodates up to five people. It too comes with cloth upholstery with leather optional. You can also get heated front seats, as well as a leather-wrapped steering wheel.
The Honda HR-V has great cargo room for its class, too: 24.3 cubic feet behind the rear seats and 58.8 cubic feet when they are folded.
Tech Features
Every Honda CR-V comes with a USB port, Bluetooth®, and a 4-speaker stereo. There are other advanced systems you can add, such as HD and satellite radio, Apple CarPlay®, and Android Auto™.
You will get the same standard tech features with the Honda HR-V, and available components that include remote start, proximity keyless entry, and an extra USB port.
