The 2012 Honda Civic Natural Gas is here! Tom Wood Honda in Anderson is proud to be one of the first in the state to offer this alternative fuel vehicle for sale.

The first thing you notice about the natural gas powered 2012 Honda Civic is that it is not particularly different than a regular gasoline powered Honda Civic. It looks the same, it drives the same, it has the same available equipment- the only difference is that every 200 miles or so you pull into a natural gas filling station instead of a traditional gas station. Also, the trunk space is slightly smaller than a traditional Civic due to the natural gas tank behind the rear seats. Otherwise, the drive feels the same as a "normal" car, and all the expected features are available including navigation and XM Radio.

To support the roll-out of the natural gas-powered version of the Civic, Honda has mandated a comprehensive training program for its service technicians. Tom Wood Honda would like to congratulate Master Technicians Ivan Hensley and Larry Chubb for completing their specialist training on the all new Honda Natural Gas Civic. After several weeks of training at Honda facilities in Troy, Ohio and Trenton, New Jersey, they are now certified to work on the natural gas vehicles.
