Help the Honda Brand Do Even More

We’re proud that so many drivers think of our dealership and the Honda brand whenever they’re looking for a new Honda car for sale like the Honda cars we have in our new car inventory. What we’re even prouder of is that so many motorists think of the automaker we represent because of the Honda brand’s commitment to giving back.

Just last month, the car manufacturer gave $1 million to establish the Honda Center for Gait Analysis and Mobility Enhancement at Nationwide Children’s Hospital in Columbus, OH. This center is dedicated to helping kids overcome issues that impair their mobility, such as birth defects, diseases, and injuries. To further achieve its objective, the center will also perform spine motion analysis and create sports performance and injury prevention programs. With the goal of improving mobility for kids throughout the world, the center will conduct research in prosthetic and wheelchair development as well.

As if the Honda brand’s seven-figure gift wasn’t enough, the car maker is willing to do even more. And the great thing is, you can help!

The automaker is willing to donate up to $50,000 more to the Honda Center for Gait Analysis and Mobility Enhancement at Nationwide Children’s Hospital, but the company needs some help from the public. All you have to do is like or share a video of Brynn Fraser, a young man fighting to overcome birth defects that limit his mobility, as he and other patients at the center meet ASIMO, the Honda brand’s advanced humanoid robot, for the first time. The video is intended to raise awareness of the importance of gait and spine analysis.

For every like or share the video gets, the Honda brand will donate $1.00 to the Honda Center for Gait Analysis and Mobility Enhancement at Nationwide Children’s Hospital, up to a total of $50,000.

"We hope everyone who sees this video will be inspired by the passion and determination of the doctors and staff at Nationwide Children's Hospital," said Jeffrey Smith, vice president of Corporate Communications for Honda North America. "When we saw these young patients' positive reaction to Honda's ASIMO, we wanted to create an opportunity for others to join us in supporting this new effort to help children with mobility issues."

Everyone at our Anderson, IN Honda dealership encourages you to like or share the video of young Brynn Fraser, his fellow patients, and ASIMO to help raise money for a worthy cause. We also encourage you to shop for your next car with a brand that has a long history of giving back. Visit Tom Wood Honda to find your next Honda vehicle today.
