Renew your Auto Registration at Tom Wood Honda

Think Outside the Branch!


Don't waste your time going to the BMV to renew your plates & registration. All Tom Wood locations
can now renew your plates for you. Next time your registration is due, just stop by any Tom Wood store
for your renewal. Or better yet, get two birds with one stone and get your oil changed and renew your plates
at the same time. Just let your service advisor know you need to renew your plates, provide them with the
necessary paperwork and skip the long wait at the BMV.

All you need to renew your plates at any Tom Wood dealership is:
  • The Primary vehicle owner's Driver's License Number or SSN
  • Your current license plate number or Full 17-digit VIN
  • Insurance information (if it has changed sine the last registration)
  • Primary owner's current address
It's super easy and doesn't take long. There is a $10 fee, which is worth it to keep you from going to the BMV!
Most plates are renewable, but there are a few specialty plates that we can't help with, most of which are the plates
that require a donation: colleges & universities, FOP, Masons, Shriners, National Guard, etc. If you have a question
about whether or not your specialty plate can be renewed at our dealerships  give us a call before you stop by.
